Join us for a fascinating live virtual presentation by the Gravestone Girls about New England cemetery art, history, and symbolism.

We'll tour colonial burial grounds, through the rural cemetery movement of the 19th century and into 21st-century locations. Why do we have cemeteries and gravestones, why do they look like they do, and how have styles and art evolved over almost 400 years? The Girls will answer those questions, plus they'll share pictures and the history of Mattapoisett’s cemeteries. Q&A is welcome at the end of the show!
