Mattapoisett Museum Celebrates Earth Day with Emerald Heirloom Farm

Join us on the museum lawn for April vacation/Earth Day fun! Ruby Pasquill from Emerald Heirloom Farm will be discussing sustainable living and simple changes you can make to lessen your footprint on the earth. She will also be facilitating a compost bottle activity engaging children who will be attending. [Please bring a clear two-liter bottle from home, all other supplies will be provided]

Ruby's goats, Maple, and Lena will gladly accept pets from anyone who wants to give them.

This is a come and go event from 2:30-4:30

Ruby is a homesteader from Mattapoisett. She is passionate about growing her food, raising livestock, and baking from scratch. In the next few months, she plans to plant and harvest wheat, to grind into flour for homemade bread. You can catch Ruby and her veggies this summer at Eastover Farm.
