About the Event
This class will take place every Monday from 6pm-8pm, starting March 21, and running for 6 weeks. All materials are provided to create two projects over the 6-week session and will be yours to keep.Â
The class will be instructed by, Jackie Sousa, who has been knitting and crocheting since she was a small child, a skill her grandmother taught her mom and has been passed down through the generations. Jackie has done craft shows and sells her goods on facebook, which can be seen at Jackie's Knits and Knots where she takes special orders. Most of the classes she has taught have been in a home setting with small groups to provide more one-on-one instruction. She has also worked with the Girls Scouts and has taught many people the basics of both knitting and crochet.
This class is limited to 8 people and tickets must be reserved in advance for the session. Registration closes on March 11.
Mattapoisett Museum programs are supported in part by a grant from the Mattapoisett Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
