About the Event

The New England Regional Group of the Horseless Carriage Club of America (HCCA), known as The Autoneers, will be making a pit stop at the Mattapoisett Museum during their one day, 70 mile tour of the South Coast. The Mattapoisett Museum and the Autoneers invite the public to stop by while they are here to look, listen, and learn about these brass era automobiles from the people who drive them!

This will be a casual and informal "non-event" kind of event. While the Autoneers will be stopping to visit the Museum, they are always happy to speak to any curious onlooker, answer questions, and have even been known to take folks on spur-of-the-moment rides around the block. We expect there to be about 15 "horseless carriages," the NEWEST of which was manufactured in 1915! If you are interested in antique cars or even just curious to see how people got…
